About Me

Hi, I’m Muhammed Ibrahim — creator of Wealth Mechanics and writer at muhe.dev.

Like many people, I started my financial journey buried in student loans, credit card debt, and confusion about how money really worked. I thought making more money was the solution, but I learned the hard way that earning money and keeping money are two very different skills.

Through trial, error, and a lot of late nights reading, I realized something important: money isn’t magic — it’s a system. With the right mechanics in place, anyone can build freedom, stability, and wealth over time.

That’s why I started Wealth Mechanics: to share the systems I’ve built (and continue to refine) for:

  • Budgeting without restriction.

  • Paying off debt without burnout.

  • Using credit cards wisely instead of fearfully.

  • Building emergency funds and safety nets.

  • Investing in stocks, ETFs, and dividends.

  • Working toward long-term financial independence.

This blog and podcast are my way of documenting the journey, reflecting on my progress, and sharing what I learn along the way — so others don’t have to repeat the same mistakes.

My goal is simple: to help you take control of your money, so your money doesn’t control you.

Outside of finance, I’m an engineer by training with a love for systems thinking, data, and teaching complex ideas in simple, approachable ways.
