Money is something we all deal with every single day and money touches every part of our lives. We earn it, spend it, borrow it, and (hopefully) invest it. Yet for most of us were never really taught how it works or how to manage it.
So we learn by trial and error. That means overspending, carrying debt, or waiting too long to invest or not investing soon enough.
I’ve made those mistakes too.
That’s why I started Wealth Mechanics on Muhe.dev. This blog is my workshop - a place where I break down the mechanics of money, debt, and investing into a system anyone can understand and use. It’s also my way of capturing and reflecting on what I’ve learned ( and what I’m still learning) on the path to financial freedom.
In many ways this space is as much for me as it is for you – a way to reflect on my own journey, track my growth, and share knowledge with anyone else walking a similar path.
This isn’t about quick hacks or chasing the next hot stock. It’s about building reliable systems that create long-term freedom.
🛤️ My Personal Money Journey
Like many people, I started with student loans, credit cards, and the heavy dose of debt. At first, I thought the solution was simple: just make more money. But I quickly learned that earning money and keeping money are two very different skills.
Over time, I realized:
Budgeting isn’t restriction – it’s freedom to do more of what matters.
Paying off debt isn’t punishment – it's how you take control of your life.
Credit cards aren’t the enemy – they’re tools, if you use them wisely.
Investing isn’t just for the wealthy – anyone can start, and it’s never too late.
I’ve also realized that small, consistent steps matter more than big leaps you never take. Saving for emergencies, paying down balances, and investing steadily - these are the mechanics of financial independence.
Furthermore, spending time to grow yourself is one of the best ways to support the people you care about. The key is patience.
That’s how you reach financial independence in a way that fits your goals, your needs, and your life and perhaps most importantly: small steps done consistently matter more than big leaps you never take.
That mindset is the foundation of Wealth Mechanics.
🛠Why Wealth Mechanics
I chose the name Wealth Mechanics because I believe money should be treated like a system - something you can design, adjust, and improve over time. Just like engineering, the right setup makes things run smoothly. While ignoring the basics can lead to breakdowns.
I know how overwhelming money can feel when you’re just starting out. The impatience, the fear of making mistakes, the pressure of not being born into wealth – it can feel paralyzing.
This blog is my way of saying: you don’t have to fake it till you make it. You just have to start.
Here’s what you’ll find here:
simple guides to budgeting, debt payoff, and credit
Step-by-step systems for saving and investing.
Lessons from my own journey toward financial independence.
Tools and trackers to make finance less intimidating.
Book and research paper reviews to expand knowledge.
Advanced discussions on markets, indicators, and trading.
This isn’t about get-rich-quick schemes or being born wealthy. It’s about building confidence and freedom, piece by piece, one step at a time.
